Dec. 26th, 2007 07:35 pmI'm listening to Hardball (something I rarely do) as I work on my transcription. So far, Mr. Matthews has struck at Huckabee, Clinton, and Edwards, while mentioning his amazement that McCain is holding up the rear and is "an alternative" to Huckabee.
I'm waiting for him, in the next twenty minutes, to say something bad about Obama or McCain. Because, otherwise, he will have made his bias plain.

The bias is not what you think, perhaps. You put a manly man who smokes a manly cigarette or poses in a manly fashion next to manly firemen, well, it just makes chris matthews weak in the knees.
Obama? Manly Man??

Date: 2007-12-27 03:15 am (UTC)When you compare Huckabee to Obama - in terms of maturity and expertise, Huckabee stands head and shoulders above Obama who - talent and all - is still much of a political idealist and upstart.
And, as far as "manly," goes, I'd consider a hunter more of the manly man type (yes, I know, not as "romantic" as the cig gigg ), wouldn't you?
Increasingly, Mike Huckabee has the look of leadership (http://snipr.com/leaderlook).
