So I'm glancing down MSNBC's site, and I see an article about Edwards. It's called "Edwards still in the hunt". Sounds interesting.

I see the subtitle of the article: "In second place in Iowa and third in N.H., but he hasn't disappeared". The conjunction seems out of place, but the article starts out strong enough.

So, by the end of the article, I'm getting into sentences like, "The result is that Edwards's message may be too clear." What? The last nine paragraphs are backhanded compliments or worse.

I google the author of the article, Marc Ambinder. Oh! He usually details the insides of conservative campaigns! Now it all makes sense.
