Noose found hanging in Long Island police station -- Now, how many stories have I posted about in the last month that had to do with nooses? The trend is alarming, to say the very least.

It's interesting where the gaps in my experience are. I didn't really know that a noose was a racist thing. I would have been wondering which policeman was interrupted in the middle of a suicide attempt.
