I'm pretty doubtful about a lot of these obesity hysteria stories. Obesity has actually gone DOWN in women, but up in men, so it averages up a bit. And the average child today is about 10 pounds heavier than the average child from the 1950s-- BUT, is also 1 inch taller on average.

I'd like to know, for the housework study, what they included. I wonder if they included yardwork/car repair/etc. I totally believe women do more housework than men, but I also suspect men are doing more mowing, chaging the car oil, and so on, so it probably works out to something more even than this study would suggest.
