Two decades ago, we were ranked 11th in the world. This was around the time, according to SiCKO, that Nixon collaborated with private companies to create HMOs. Coincidence?
Edit: I'm operating on a sleep deficit; I inserted an extra decade. So, that was after the HMOs were already created. I still think privatizing health care has affected the US for the worse.
