I've watched two really great movies for the first time in the past week: On the Waterfront and The Sting.

What's the last really great movie you've seen (3.5 stars or better out of four)?

Ok I'm not answering your question - but I have t say that The Sting has been one of my all time favorite movies for most of my life. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have to wait in between viewings... might be about time tho. :)
Nothings popping to mind for answering your actual question... um... ok ... Harold and Maude and Crash recently. Chariots of Fire is another all time favorite - but I haven't seen it recently.

honestly, one of my faves recently is Grindhouse.

the entire experience did just what it set out to do, and masterfully so.
