An interesting fact I learned is that African-American families have more faternal twins than the general population. Asians and Hispanics have fewer faternal twins.
Black and white women have now equalized, though much of this is thought to be due to fertility treatment and the age at which women start having children. There's an interesting coorelation between multiple births and women getting off hormonal birth control.
