Mine are related to yours simply bcause your habit of collecting is similar; I collect interesting wine corks and I never, ever stick my chopsticks into a bowl of rice so that they stick up. I always lay them over the bowl or next to it when I'm not eating and I make sure never to cross them
When I dine in at a fast food place, I always fold up my meal into squares and fit everything I use into the drink cup or fry container if I can.
Because I couldn't resist and its food related. I always make a chopstick rest from the wrapping or from a utensil if available when I eat with chopsticks.
My mom and I have a huge inside joke related to penguins. Years ago we started going out of our way to find penguin related cards or gifts and we'd send them or give them to one another. Then we started learning more about penguins for other reasons and now we both just really love penguins. But it's such a bizarre thing we have going and for reasons that are well beyond bizarre. But it's fun!
Actually, I began collecting the fortunes when I was serious into rubber stamping. I have a stamp that is a fortune cookie, so I had the idea of making cards that featured real fortunes. These days, I still have the stamps but I haven't made a card in quite a while. Yet I keep collecting the fortunes.
