I love my current boss, i think he's one of the best i've worked for. He's done none of the above. He's also gone far out of his way to be supportive of me, which i greatly appreciate.

My current boss has done none of the above.

I've had former bosses that failed to give credit when credit was due, and that gave me the silent treatment.

I think you know about my more recent "bad boss" experiences, but I look back on some amusement at the boss who yelled at me for calling in sick. Apparently, though, people who just didn't show up were off the hook...

I couldn't even tell you who my "boss" is. I report to several different people on several different projects, but I am mostly left alone to do them.

Having recently been a manager, I realize that I wasn't perfect as a boss, either. I told my employees I'd get to something, and then it would slip my mind. So I definitely am guilty of the first charge. However, other than that, I did my best to respect my employees not only as employees but as people. I also owned up to my shortcomings to my employees and offered apologies. I don't remember my most recently boss doing anything of the sort for me.
