Dec. 12th, 2006 10:45 amNet neutrality has come to Michigan. The legislature is voting on a bill that would give Internet providers the ability to restrict site viewing depending on their financial interests.
The bill is up for a vote today. It's known as the Michigan Video Franchising Bill (HB 6456). Moveon.Org has urged its members to place phone calls to state senators and Governor Granholm to ask them to vote no unless it's amended.
