Apple cider, fall leaves crunching underfoot, a colorful treescape, the special kind of golden sun only autumn provides, wearing jackets and boots again, braids in hair.

I love, not autumn, but late summer, when all of the trees are still green, except for one high branch of one tree, which has turned vibrantly red.

Fall itself... um... I like the extra hour of sleep when we set the clocks back.
