That's because the net is the worst threat to sleep ever invented! It is for me, at least. However, I'd rather give up sleep than the net, so there it is. It's amusing though, whenever our cable modem stops working, or the power goes off, I get plenty of sleep. So that's what it's like to not be tired all the time...

*laugh* Exactly! That's exactly it. It doesn't help that, since I connect through the phone line, I generally can't devote large amounts of time online until after 10:30 or 11:00.
Same here, I get started late, because I don't get home from work until about 6:30 or 7, then there's dinner and dishes afterwards, and whatever else. LJ has this amazing shape-changing ability: grindstone or techno-miracle. ;-)
