I looked up superstitious in a few dictionaries, and they all talked about it being irrational. I don't believe that I am irrational, but I do believe in magickal connections

Not in a traditional blackcats/ladders way, but yes.

Not a drop in regular life, but it's kind of odd, when I used to play baseball more seriously, I did tend to get superstitious there, but only on the field. Don't know why. I used to always put a half-dollar in my left pocket when I pitched. And now that I think about it, I still always hop over the foul line out of habit.

That icon just slays me. I think that's the funniest icon I've seen yet!

And no - I'm not generally superstitious. When I find superstitions hiding out in my head, I try to eliminate them.

I would agree with jdoggiedogg and chimalis.

Not in the black cat/ladder/salt spilt way. But I do believe in Magic... in a young girls heart... LOL Sorry for the musical earworm.

I believe in connections of events. But not that every event is connected if that makes any sense?

Sort of, but I think it is more of a 'hope against hope' sort of thing, that gets me through when despair is the more reasonable option. Optimism sometimes requires extreme measures/beliefs.

Ive been accused of it, because I talk about things like ancestors, power, and mysterious forces that govern our lives and the universe that people cant see like some primitive backwater tribal. =p
So I suppose, yes.
I love that icon. Where did you get it?
Im compiling a thread in a forum chronicling all the facts about Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ(tm) and that would go great in it.
Heres the link, you might find it amusing.

I have my own odd set of superstitions. For example, I don't believe that the number thirteen is unlucky, yet for some reason I can't explain, I'm not so enthusiastic about the number six. I knock on wood for luck, but it has to be done with the right hand, not the left. Heh ... I'm just srange :D
