I've killed two ants and a wasp. Like I was telling lameautarch, I don't like killing things if I don't have to. But the ants, especially when they're in your own house, are hard not to kill. And the wasp, I couldn't figure out how to get it outside without killing it.
Another batch of lung cells, probably. Especially yesterday-- home-rolled with stale tobacco in actual rolling papers (and thus, no benefit of a filter). I'm getting marginally better at using them.
If the redness around the wound is any indication, a bunch of other kinds of cells, too; both Allison and I are putting our money on a staph infection at current. I'll know more this afternoon/evening.
I may have killed a few ants, as we are battling them in our kitchen.
I have wanted to kill the kitten. We finally have an appointment to get her fixed. I am thrilled beyond words. Therefore, she gets a reprieve. (If she keeps pissing on the kitchen table after she's fixed, though... it's the gunnysack and the rocks.)
a spider, some ants, a snail (I think -- I threw it over the fence, so its shell probably cracked), some spinach, basil, and arugula (I don't take responsibility for killing the plants I buy already plucked) and wildflowers. a few proposals for website changes.
I swerved to NOT hit and kill a juvenile squirrel.
This is interesting timing, since as I was killing the ants, I was thinking about the idea of compassion in Buddhism and how the Dalai Lama talks about starting with 'the least of these' and not killing bugs and lower animals to practice compassion. I shoo out spiders, but ants, in my opinion, have it coming to them. I'll never be a proper Buddhist.
Ants, some weird round hard-shelled bugs (not potato-bugs). A cow and some chickens died to feed me but I didn't kill them myself. I actively avoided killing the baby skunks following momma across the street.
