If there is one thing I know about doctors, it is that they tend to be the sort of people who, when they see people physically suffering, feel the need to *do* something.

I agree that the implications of such a policy are demeaning... but I have to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.

I don't think the doctors who came up with this policy were intentionally trying to characterize all women as baby machines... I think this was simply a poorly thought out - but innocent - attempt to reduce birth defects.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr reading the posts today backwards..most recent to whenever it was I left off the other day....grrrrrr.

Are they asking the potential dads to do the same...their health matters too.

Way grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and not a good grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr either.
