rather frequently, actually.
sometimes, I wake up frustrated because I _know_ I've been singing for the last quite some time, and it was all made up by me, and I can't remember a bit of it.

Often they are in the background for me. But not theme music like, more coincedental music, usually through a radio or something.

all the time. about 1/50th of them, I wake up and remember it. about 3/4 of those times, it's some song I already know. the rest of the time, I'm composing in my sleep. it's stupidly rare that I ever manage to write sleep-compositions down, though.

soundtracks, actually. sometimes to songs that exist, other times to songs i haven't created yet.

if i wasn't the lazy bastard i was, i would write them.

Occasionally one of my dreams will feature a really neat-sounding song, either sung at a concert or by someone in some context or other, and when I wake up, I'm frustrated that I can't remember it. :)
