The Oscars

Hmm. Let's see. I predicted the wins of six categories, including Eminem's win for "Lose Yourself" in Best Song. I mean, that song is just so full of life. Chris Cooper and Nicole Kidman were my favorites for Best Supporting Actor and Actress, respectively, so I'm glad they walked away with statuettes.
Adrien Brody for Best Actor. That was a blindside. I liked how he shut up the band when they tried to shoo him offstage.
As for Michael Moore's comments, I found myself clapping through most of them. I think the boos were a bit much (but, then again, others may have thought his speech to be a bit much).
And Roman Polanski for Best Director! A man who can't even show up to the awards ceremony. Makes me want to go out and see The Pianist.
The Academy should get Steve Martin to host more often.
