I'm with you on this one. I believe that, of the self-appointed triumvirate of US, UK and Spain, only US has reasonably strong domestic support. UK population is against (although polls are moving in favour now the fighting has started) and when I was in Spain a few weeks ago, the feeling was very anti.
The speech is very moving - hope you also saw Robin Cook's resignation speech the other day, posted by immolata and brightfame
Funnily enough, Cook mentioned something I've been telling several of my friends--that if the Democrat had won the last U.S. election, this war would not be happening. I mean, who can disagree with that?
