Today I was in the office with nothing but a phone and a fax machine. Tomorrow will probably be the same. Then, March 1, it's to the new building! With an additional 30-minute commute!

I didn't prepare for the move well (I didn't retain a copy of phone numbers of my workers while I'm office-sitting). However, I wasn't informed that I would be office-sitting until Saturday morning. So how prepared could I be?

We still need to inform all of our business contacts of our move. That will be my job tomorrow, without a doubt.

And here's wishing the car faeries will give me a car. *checks out the auto section of the paper* With regards to calling people about their ads, what kinds of questions should I ask?

Obviously, ask about the mileage if it's not listed in the ad. Also ask about maintenance records (i.e. can they prove they got regular oil changes and the like). You could also ask for the VIN and check carfax.com to see what's up with the car before even going to test-drive it.

Ask them if they are the original owner, and if they have records of the vehicle's maintenance history.

Make sure they're willing to have you have a mechanic give the car a look-over before you buy it.
