you know what doesn't make sense about "curbing a power play"?

The supreme court decided that the feds cant legislate state's ability to practice medicine, but the feds are allowed to prevent medical marijuana use.

Doesn't make any damn sense to me. Seems like the exact same issue but in one case the feds can step in, and in the other they can't.

I agree with you. Seems like the Supremes want to have it both ways. But I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not exactly sure of the intricacies of the rulings involved and how they would differ.
