The Internet has been down at work for over two days now. I'm without a major source of stress relief. Hopefully Earthlink will get their act together soon.

Tomorrow I fire someone. I've never fired someone before.

I've been in the room when someone was fired and I've given the pre-fire message which the person chose not to return after - but I've never had to fire anyone.

I've regretted not working harder to help the first person keep his job - but it wasn't my choice to make.

I wish I had some advice. But I really don't know what the best approach is. Good luck!
