sweat on my brow
Feb. 22nd, 2003 08:44 pmLast night was so fun and rewarding. I spent five hours working on "Eyes Wide Shut, July 1999", and 2-3 hours immediately tweaking. It was the most exciting session of editing I've ever had. I think this is because this was the first piece of work I've had under my fingers in a long time that I've actually used my creativity.
Writing poetry on DXM is so addictive.

Briefly, it's the active ingredient of most cough suppressants available over the counter. It's an anaesthetic dissociative, which places it in the same family of drugs as nitrous oxide, ketamine, and PCP. It's liked mainly for such effects as time dilation and closed-eye visuals. I also use DXM as a guide in meditation and poetry creation.
