Poll finds broad approval of terrorist torture

Why does that get the emphasis? Who conducted the poll? What was the original question or questions?

This quote is absurdly horrifying:

“Some who have been critical of the Bush administration have confused torture with cruel, inhumane treatment.”

I kind of wholeheartedly believe that poll has been in the hands of a "spin-doctor."

Note the glossing over of the phrase "in rare circumstances"

Note that they say Bush said "We don't do torture," when we know for a fact that they do, Cheney was even trying to get congress to okay it after the fact.

Pure and utter baloney of the type commonly put out by News Corp, which virtually owns Halliburton Industries.

I suspect the American part of the poll had many voters from http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/browse
