I'm under the impression that a historical Jesus was a radical socialist and that the first couple hundred years of christianity was practiced by small anarchist groups. how idyllic.
It's true that early Christianity was radically socialist, sharing their possessions in common. I'm not one to put stock in a Jesus figure who actually existed in history, however.
