Well, this HAS been a police state ever since 9/11/01. More coverage like this may at least make people understand that.

That's a ridiculous story, and I'm glad the ACLU is defending her.

But that website is a little odd. Unless you look really closely, it is hard to tell it is her own website, especially since she refers to herself in the third person throughout the story.

You know... a few years ago I would have been outraged about this story. Now I'm just disgusted. Such is the wearing effect of the police state we are coming to live in. I think this one's worth linking to.

I'm not sure about her reference to communist Russia. I spent a month in the Ukrane and not once was I asked for identification. I get carded much more often in the states.
