I wonder about mine, too, at times, and I think that that's part of maintaining sanity; one can do it and nevertheless be insane, but there, too, if one is honest and knows what the hell one is talking about, that can give one a gauge as to how insane one is at the moment, and whether or not it's reasonable in the context of the situation (yep, I said it- insanity is not necessarily unreason)...

The scariest people are those who are obviously and unrepentantly whacked-out nutjobs (Jim Jones, Jerry Falwell, George W. Bush- a very short not-at-all-entirely-inclusive list) who think that they're alright & all good... especially when they manage to enlist others to their causes.

I perceive you as being very intelligent, very curious as to the nature and state of the world around you... trying to get along, trying to figure out how to cope with the crap without sacrificing ideals or turning into a numb patch of blah- how does one go about living a vibrant and accepting life in the middle of all- this?-

One does what one can.
