Most judges are conservative, unfortunately. Kim is a victim of a system that refuses to acknowledge transgendered folks.

The details of the case *are* astounding. The judge in the case needs re-educaton desperately- that much is glaringly apparent. Kimpossible does need accomodation with regards to her gender status as well as her disability (whatever that may be- I haven't seen it mentioned)

I also suspect that there is a lot that isn't being said... like Kim's ex-wife's side of the story. I can only the kind of rage that would lead a woman to out an employed ex- , particularly when she's depending on the money.

I have a hard time with parents who don't fulfill their obligations as parents when it comes to the support of their children. I've been the single mother with no child support and it put a scar or two on my psyche to have to do things like raid my son's piggy bank so I could get groceries to last two days until payday. I've held jobs that I hated and felt demeaned in because I had to make sure my son was taken care of. There was nothing more important than that. No job, no school, no form of self-expression, no activism,... nothing superceeds the responsibility of the parent. You do what you have to do to make certain that your children are taken care of.. even if the other parent is capable of providing completely for the child, you are still required to contribulte.
