Well, you know, they do have a right to display their moronic, xenophobic, bigoted opinion on a sign on their property. It's all good - it lets me know for sure I would never want to go to church there :P

It's indicative of a dangerous trend. I was watching something on CSPAN 3 the other night: one of Darwin's descendants was in Tennessee, giving a talk on his 'accidental memoir.' During the question and answer segment, one of the audience members made some mention about how Islam is what "we're" (i.e., Americans) need to be against.

For all the talk from the Administration about how they're trying to be careful not to frame the war in religious terms, they're sure doing a hell of an awful job. It's no wonder religious intolerance is on the rise.

Oh, indeed. But the same law that allows them the right to reveal themselves as religious bigots, allows me to publically mock them for being such.

Yeah. Allow me to be sarcastic. ;)

They need to flush most of the Bible down the toilet. The only books that expressly deal with what Jesus taught are the gospels Matthew, Mark, and John.

The rest of it just confuses people.

No book should be flushed! That would block up the plumbing, and what did the plumbing ever do to you?

Oh. That's right, now that you mention it.
