I have a job! (I'd do the dance of new employment, but I did a lot of that already at home. In front of my picture window, even.)
It's through one of my (new) temp agencies. I'll be working the front desk at a company that is local. My commute is minimal, about ten minutes. The pay is the best rate I've ever gotten from a temporary agency. While I've been advised to start with business casual, apparently the dress code is pretty casual there (I'd like to wear jeans to work, that'd be nice). I start Wednesday.
I can't complain.
