What is the relation of nature to time?

I've said before that I hope to represent a "will to peace" as opposed to the "will to power" Nietzsche spoke so much about. I wonder: are peace and power actually oppositional? Instead of "people power"--revolutions borne of popular uprising--could there exist something such as "people peace," a movement that grows from the inside of a society out (instead of overpowering said society, rising over it and consequently conquering it)?
