The bad luck continues.

I'm at home last night, sorting Magic cards. It's late; I'm falling asleep in my chair. Before I go to bed, though, I think of eating a few more Gummi Savers, the berry kind. I pop one in my mouth, then hear the sound (and ostensibly the feel) of glass breaking. I spit out what appears to be a tooth fragment, but it doesn't really look like a tooth. I check where the piece may have come from, and discover that, yes, it's from the tooth that supposedly was repaired this summer.

I don't even know what to do at this point. I have a good mind to write a letter expressing my dissatisfaction. But what good would that do? I guess I could demand that he fix the tooth again at no cost, but I really don't want that man in my mouth ever again.

You know, I've had that dream quite a few times, the one where you're spitting out broken pieces of teeth. But it hasn't happened since I lost my baby teeth (and even then it was whole teeth!) and I'd like to keep it that way!

what was the tooth repair that was done? most dentists that do a surface repair do suggest getting a crown within 6-12 months of the repair for that reason. my teeth fall apart a lot (i kid you not, ask kirt. i will be sitting there and be like "damn, my tooth just exploded." bad genes.) so i know how creepy it is to spit out random teeth parts.
i learned i have to avoid really hard and really chewy things. this makes me sad as giant chewy sweet tarts are a fave of mine, but i have broken my tooth TWICE on them.

Oh yeah. I've been playing since Unlimited days, right before Arabian Nights.

Thats so awesome.
I knew that gamers could be educated too!
I started during Fallen Empires then quit when Urza's Saga came out.. felt that the set really unbalanced the game. Been on and off since.
Speaking of which.. have you noticed that the latest generation of Magic players just isnt very good? Maybe its just here in Seattle, but its like all the really powerful cards somehow stunted their strategic growth.
I havent heard a newer player say "during your discard phase" in a long long time.
