Oh yeah - and NPR had something this morning about how the winner is decided and it sounded like the reporters wait to decide until the spin doctors have tried to affect things!!! Isn't that fucked up!?!
The gasp happened at the tail end of the debate. Lehrer asked Bush if "his hackles were raised" as Kerry had called Bush's truthfulness into question, and all Bush had to say was, "I'm a pretty calm guy." The audience wasn't supposed to react, but it did.
