I watched Dr. Strangelove with my dad earlier, then came upstairs and watched 21 Grams. I'm still rather blown away.

Damn, my mom makes some good chili.

Dr. Strangelove is the best movie EVER. Tied with The Jerk (a favorite of Kubricks) and The Big Lebowski as my favorite comedy. Although I haven't seen the Jerk in a while so I'm not sure if I'd still like it. Another good one is This is Spinal Tap. Some real comedic gems in that one...

21 Grams will do that to you, that's for sure.

I'm still blown away by the depth Del Toro created for his character. He should have won the Oscar. And Naomi Watts' intensity and sorrow was chillingly realistic, thanks to her immense talent. Sean Penn was able to be a lot more subtle in this than in Mystic River, too. Which is unusual, because this is one movie that refuses to be subtle in most cases. I loved the music and cinematography, too.

Haven't seen Dr. Strangelove: or How I Stopped Worrying and Loved the Bomb yet. I absolutely adore the title, though.
