I'm not sure the word "manipulation" really means very much, because one pretty much always allows "manipulation" by another to take place. I think "coercion" is a more iseful term, as it implies someone undertaking an action that they consciously do not want to take.
Yes (assuming the manipulation works about the way it would have without your conscious consent). To say otherwise would be to identify ourselves entirely with conscious awareness and executive control ("will"), which we know is silly.
sure, unless you still remain in control of your own power - in which case it's more a matter of letting the "manipulator" believe he/she is in control, when in fact he/she is not. the dominant ones aren't always the ones with the power :)
