Yeah. I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that I have problem teeth. And without insurance, well, there are only so many options. But my dad says that the dental school at the University of Michigan will do dental work at more than reasonable rates.

I've avoided going to them because, well, I don't want students working on my teeth. But my dad needed major dental surgery a while back (he was getting fitted for dentures), and while I sympathized with him for the procedure he had to go through, he seemed to have received very professional care. So that's partially allayed my fears.

Really, I just want to be able to eat. I need to eat on at least one side of my mouth. Both sides not working would be a problem.

Glad I dont live in the US, in Australia our current right-wing leader is trying to wind it down, but at the moment we have both free doctors (but nowdays you have to search for them) and cheap pharmaceuticals over here are about to go too :(

Geez. I'm sure it will work out ok though. I think insurance is a big problem in the US. Despite the problems, at least Canada is trying for universal coverage. Anyway the school sounds like a good idea. BTW, I've definitely enjoyed my visits to Ann Arbor (my aunt lives there). For some reason I associate it with food. Fragles at the Bagel Factory, and there's that cool vegetarian restaurant there...with a Sanskrit name I think? Plus the art fair in the summer.
