I was curious to see if anyone at work would bring it up. No one did, at least not to me.
Had I been around these parts last year, I would have had scores of posts regarding the case. As it stands, this is my first post about the subject. I bet you can guess, though, how I feel about how the case proceeded & of course how it came out.
To me, the selection/makeup of the jury combined with the exclusion of the voice recognition experts signaled that the verdict was baked in. When both mothers claimed the screams were those of their sons, I was absolutely certain.
In Florida, it's open season on young Black men. I hope they take precautions.
