At least he was captured alive. That was the worse case scenario for the Bush administration.

My wet dream of all of this:

Saddam manages to make it through trial with his life intact, and, with nothing better to do than rot in jail for the rest of his life, decides to tell ALL ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED IN HIS TENURE AS IRAQ'S LEADER< INCLUDING ALL THE SHIT THE US DID FOR HIM.

Won't happen, I know, but I can dream, can't I?

Well, now that he's been captured, *alive*, someone would have to arrange for a suspicious assasination attempt.

Otherwise, there's going to *have* to be a very public trial, and if he has lawyers of any brains whatsoever, they will dig up all the dirt on the U.S., and maybe accuse the bush administration of war crimes.

Why did they have to shave off his beard? We could have paraded him around as Santa Claus as punishment for his warcrimes! Did you see how sad he looked after they shaved him? Poor war criminal. By the way, I agree with the other comment about Saddam going to trial and discussing Bush Administration 'war crimes.'

It'd be great if he spilled the beans... Bush deserves a thorough and painful setdown for his stupidity.. and the general pro-bush (republican sheep who go party vote instead of actually looking at the candidates) need to see what's really going on.

It won't help. But it'd be nice...

And someone really should assasinate Saddam... He's been in trouble before, he's done bad things, we let him get away with it and then trained him to do more bad things. If he lives, and gets out, he'll only start again.
