Oscars (so far--30-ish minutes to go)

novapsycheApparently, folks thought Avatar would have won more awards by now, considering how many canned jokes have been made (particularly Ben Stiller's makeup).
It's been Hurt Locker's night. Which is interesting, because I just wasn't thrilled when I saw it. (However, my father couldn't stop singing its praises.)
Christoph Waltz totally deserved his award. If you haven't seen Inglorious Basterds, put it on your list.
Also, I must see Precious. Damn.
Edit: What is up with these personalized best actor & actress recitations? Why are the speeches about the persons, not their roles? *shakes head* These people do not need their egos inflated. That I strongly feel.
