Ahmadinejad: Iran is now a 'nuclear state'

My first response: And we invaded Iraq . . . why again?

Second: This does not bode well for Earth's general health and constitution.

The sooner we get over this idea that we can or should stop Iran's nuclear enrichment, the better... It's explicit in the non-proliferation treaty Iran signed that peaceful nuclear energy is allowed. Get over it everyone!

Iran is FAR more likely to turn their weapons upon their own citizenry than that of any other nation. I am not worried about Israel, largely because such an attack would destroy the same sites that are holy to Iran (and, really, the rest of the Middle East). There is also a BIG difference between having nuclear capability and a reliable delivery system.

And we invaded Iraq for three reasons:

1) It distracted the media from the economy.
2) 'cause Iraq was mean to Bushie's father.
3) Because Karl Rove thought that we could shake up the Middle East and democracy would magically kick in... despite five decades of history to the contrary.
