I'm tempted to send her a thank you note for helping to form the next generation of liberals by showing just how cruel and exclusionary the conservatives can be.
It's really a perfect microcosm of what has become of right-wing reactionary-ism. Their "political philosophy" as such was always just a string of words used to prettify their bullyish, divisive, self-serving acts, and the last few years it's been thoroughly debunked as the fraud it is. And so this is what they have left: their naked hate for anyone who isn't like them, and the fear that drives them.
