Jan. 12th, 2010 01:09 pmI've finished Aristotle's Poetics, although I need to go back through it and really evaluate the footnotes and appendices. Currently, I'm fairly deep into Dante's Inferno. On deck: Paradise Lost.
(I'm not terribly pleased with the translation of Inferno that I possess [by John Sinclair]; it's rendered into prose instead of trying to emulate the Italian versification. Can anyone suggest an English translation that retains the poetry of the work?)
