Normally I wouldn't wear stuff like this to work, not so much, but I figure I wouldn't be going back home to change after work, so I better be ready to see these fine folks above.

I have a good feeling about today.

Wednesday

I went to one of my monthly poetry groups last night. This group I hadn't attended in many months (only because the participants generally end up in general conversation; the critique is really soft, too). It was just four women, all of whom knew each other previously, so it was a nice group. Everyone there seemed to like my poem "Devotee," but we ended up talking more about pets in general than the merits or deficiencies of my piece.

Then I went home and caught the majority of Roger and Me, which I'd never seen before. Very strong film.
