Dec. 31st, 2003 07:42 pmThis is my first update of the day? My goodness.
We were supposed to have a half day at work today, but one of the bosses decided to let everyone go at 11:00 instead. Cool. While at work, I printed out my poems(!) so all I have left to do is draft the cover letter. I don't know why I'm dragging my feet on this. But I'll have tonight and all day tomorrow (minus the Rose Bowl) to bang out a copy. Then Friday I can go to a Kinko's, or maybe the library will be open (they're much cheaper).
My parents are off for their anniversary. My father bought tickets to The Whispers, my mom's favorite group. They left about a half hour ago. I hope they have a good time.
I'm home alone, enjoying my last DXM dose for six months.
This has been a strange year. But at least I am employed. Last year at this time, I was not.
