MSNBC just interrupted Dan Abrams with commercials. Twice.
First, he and his guests were talking about the nature of secrecy in government.
Then, he came back and updated the viewer that the conference call between the State Department and the press had concluded. More before the end of the hour.
Edit: Got sidetracked with IMs.
So, the State Dept. canned two employees for sneaking peeks at Obama's passport file and disciplined one other. The dates of the violations of privacy were January 9, February 21 and March 14. The folks at MSNBC seemed to think that the last instance was the one that was the most serious and is what caused the other two to come to light. All sorts of protocol wasn't followed.
These are interesting times.
