The fact that it seems like a tie means that it was a win for Obama. I've been watching the political tide for quite some time; nine months ago, everyone said Hillary Clinton had everything in the bag, it was a foregone conclusion. Conservative pundits talked about her as though she were clearly the heir apparent.
That Obama could make up a double-digit spread in the span of a month indicates that Clinton is just hanging on. Even three months ago, the national polls had her winning handily across the country (for Democratic likely voters). It's no longer true.
