Transcribing parts of a paper for thirty minutes, saving it to a library computer due to receiving a phone call, stepping out to that phone call, and coming back in to find that someone else has taken your station and that the document is not anywhere on the hard drive, even though that's where you saved it.

Five pages, poof! The upside is that I already have it as hard copy, so I didn't really lose anything, except time.
