Yes, I agree that heavy petting (anything below the neck besides hand-holding or the occasional butt-smack or -squeeze) should be restricted to the indoors.
So, there was this one time when I was with censored and we were in a coffeeshop that had a sofa. We snuggled up like it was our living room (not pruriently but definitely affectionately). Was that wrong? I think about the line of propriety, sometimes.
