Biological mom accused of taking adopted girl -- I'm surprised this is the first time I've heard of a story like this.

Minimum wage increases to boost nation's poor

Whenever I read a story about the "minimum wage" I think of two things: Originally, it meant the minimum a person could survive on -- which would be $10 or $15 an hour, most places.

The second thing I think is that if minimum wage had kept pace with executive salary inflation, "minimum" wage would be more than $20 an hour. I don't remember where I read that, though.
