Yes, Though when writting on a non-lined sheet of paper, I don't tend to stay on a straight line. Also, my handwritting is a combination of print and cursive.
not to mention my not so great spelling and grammer. :)
not even a little. and it was some kind of big deal in grammar school, I'd get graded low in "handwriting" and have my homework rejected as illegible. practice never helped. Today, to write neatly, I have to print and go very slowly.
I wasn't raised around my dad, except for a few visits over the years and phone calls. As an adult, I looked at his handwriting on a birthday card and noted that it was identical to my own. woah, genetic. His son who is 21 now also has handwriting identical to mine! and so does our grandfather. (big laugh this past xmas) My half sister (his full sister) does not. theres a technical term for "a trait that is the result of many gene contributions" but it escapes me.
my printing is legible. my cursive is laughable. my grandfather asked me once if i didn't like or respect my name, that my signature was illegible. i responded i liked it enough i wanted to make it hard to duplicate.
my handwriting has never been that great. i started writing all papers on the computer in 6th grade (on the commodore 64, then a tandy 1000!)
today, i print upper and lower caps almost always. it guarantees others can read what i write.
