My umich account. Got it in 1992. It was inactive for a few years (and thus the spam dropped to nothing) and then was reactivated. Now I get lots of spam. Thanks, umich!

I also had a really old hotmail account, but I'm pretty sure they cancelled it by now due to inactivity for over five years.

my first acct was a vax shell account at oberlin, opened in 1994. that and many others are long gone now, though. my oldest active account is 8 years old now, and they'll probably keep it for me until i'm a grandpa if i'm good.

speaking of memories, i also remember using mosaic when there were only a handful of sites and thinking how much this whole "world wide web" thing sucked compared to usenet!
